Quilting is my passion.
Southern Oregon is my new home.
Eugene is my new husband.
Finally I am able to get back to my roots, back to the simple life, in a small town with fascinating and friendly
people.
There is time now -- time for quilting, for gardening, for animals, for travel, for
new friends and new adventures.
Come along and enjoy them with me!

On a personal note, I have three sons, two daughters-in-law, three grandsons and one granddaughter.
My new hubby has two sons, one daughter, one daughter-in-law, five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. (He's
older !) When we get together, we sure fill up a dining room! After all, isn't that what life is really all
about?

of the NQA)

I also hold memberships in various museums where they focus on quilting and quilt history.
In addition to an interest in quilting, I've been involved in community theater and music most of
my life. For three years I was a member of the Board of Directors of SARTA (Sacramento Area Regional Theater Alliance)
and judged musical theater productions. I've directed the musical play "Quilters," twice -- in 1988 and 1999.
My Russian program was highlighted on HGTV's "Simply Quilts" show #713, and I was co-hostess of KIXE-TV's
PBS show in Redding, CA, "North State Quilts," for two years.
Gene and I love to travel, and have been halfway around the world since our marriage in 2004 in
Hawaii -- to South Africa, Brazil, Tortola, British Virgin Islands, St. Helena, Barbados, etc. Our newest
adventure? Moving to a three-acre farm in the country between Gold Hill and Rogue River, Oregon, near the Rogue River. New
quilter friends to meet, new quilts to appraise, new and beautiful shows to judge, new country to explore, new rivers to fish
-- what a life!
